Abstract

Current industrial developments require readiness from manufacturing companies to carry out risk analysis of designs and processes. By using Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), industrial printing machine components are analyzed for their risk impact. In the discussion, it was found that the two-way valve component is the most dominant component that poses a risk of damage. Using risk calculations, the two-way valve RPN value is 168; Risk analysis using FMEA in many studies helps companies to find risks that must be resolved. By proactively implementing FMEA at the product or process design stage, companies can identify potential failure risks before products are manufactured. This allows companies to design more reliable systems, take more effective preventive measures, and reduce the likelihood of costly failures.
