One way to overcome the risk of defective products is to maintain product quality. In machines, spare parts that are frequently damaged can reduce the quality of the machine. Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a method for analyzing risks by knowing the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value so that you can know which spare parts need to be repaired first. The spare part that has the highest RPN value is the two way valve spare part with the potential for failure to leak and not function. Fish bone diagrams are used to analyze the causes of damage in detail. Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA) is a corrective action based on analysis of the fish bone diagram. From three months of implementing corrective actions, the RPN 210 value decreased for potential leaking and non-functioning failures, to 24 for potential leaking failures and 18 for potential non-functioning failures.
