PT. Lucky Indah Keramik is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry that produces and sells various types of tableware made of ceramic materials such as plates, bowls and cups. To ensure the products produced are in good quality condition, quality inspection is required. The problem faced by this company is found defective products in the production process. Six Sigma is one of the steps in quality control and improvement. In this study, six sigma was applied to the process of making a picture bowl of the Rooster. Data used in February - March 2023, production is at 4.59 sigma with a process capability of 99.02%. There are 10 types found and with pareto diagram analysis it shows that the 4 most dominant types of defects are broken feet, saggar sticking, cleft feet, edge cracks, so repairs are focused on these defects. The causes found included lack of communication and conscientious workers, some poor quality raw materials, lack of maintenance and maintenance on production machines. The proposed solution is to check raw materials carefully, carry out outreach activities to employees on the importance of maintaining quality, schedule proper and scheduled machine maintenance, decant, provide writing and an overview of the operator's job duties.
