Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted are read by the editorial staff. Manuscripts evaluated by the editors that do not meet the journal's criteria are rejected outright without external review. Manuscripts deemed potentially interesting to our readers are sent to reviewers. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewers' recommendations from among several possibilities: reject, require major revisions, need minor revisions, or accept.
Editor-in-Chief COMPEDIART has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal will be published.
Review Process:
- Author submits the manuscript
- Editor Evaluation [some manuscripts are rejected or returned before the review process]
- Double-blind peer review process
- Editor's Decision
- Confirmation to the author
